Iain Abernethy Seminar – Tekki 1 -3

On Saturday 11th October we hosted Iain Abernethy for a Seminar on Tekki Kata focussing on a continual flow drill coveringall 3 kata.  It was the first time Iain had taught the drill in the UK.  We welcomed Karateka from around the local area and a few from further afield, Knaresborough, Scotland, North Wales and Canada!

It was a great seminar and full of very enthusiastic Karateka.  Looking forward to the next one. 

New Belmont School

 Update for Belmont, we will be in the new sports hall from tomorrow night (7^th January), the biggest change for the change of venue is there is no viewing area or seating area on site for parents to watch/wait.  The balcony viewing area was always a great feature to the old sports hall.

Any new students of course as usual parents can stay for the 1^st few to ensure they settle if they would prefer.

Any concerns or queries please don’t hesitate to let me know.  Tomorrow will be the first time I will have visited the new venue too, so will be carrying out new risk assessments etc and following up with all students/parents in the coming weeks I have the most up to date contact information.
